Mechanism

Mavacamten is a cardiac myosin inhibitor that modulates the number of active myosin heads, reducing dynamic left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) obstruction and improving cardiac contractility and filling.

Approved Indication

Treatment of adults with symptomatic New York Heart Association (NYHA) class II-III obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM).
