Mechanism

Nerandomilast selectively inhibits phosphodiesterase 4B (PDE4B), leading to antifibrotic and anti-inflammatory effects in lung tissues by increasing cAMP levels.

Approved Indication

Treatment of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and progressive pulmonary fibrosis (PPF) in adults.
