Mechanism

Binds selectively to estrogen receptor alpha (ER-alpha) and promotes its degradation, inhibiting estrogen-dependent gene transcription and tumor growth.

Approved Indication

FDA-approved for adult patients with ER-positive, HER2-negative, ESR1-mutated advanced or metastatic breast cancer whose disease progressed after endocrine therapy.
